CFA Football League 2005 Midget All Star Section Sheet Instructions.

CFA Midget Coaches.  I created a rating sheet that can be used after each Midget game that is played or scouted so that at the end of the season we all can have something to look back on to help in the player selections.  I plan on giving a sheet to each of my players who were in the previous game on Tuesday after practice and collecting them the next day. 

I am also going to have each coach fill one out and turn it in also.  If each team does something similar they will at least have something to look back on to see how players that are nominated at the end of the season did when they seen them or played against them. 

As coaches we usually remember the dominate players in a particular game but can easily forget the play of the behind the scenes players who make it all happen such as the linemen.  In asking the players to rate their fellow players, I plan on stressing that they should rate them as "honest" as they would want to be rated. 

We should use the ratings that the players choose only as reference and not as a final score as the head coaches should have notes themselves to guide them at the end of the year for a particular player but it will give the coaches some additional information to look at in the voting period. 

We also should create a master email list of just the Midget head coaches as soon as possible so that every head coach is informed of anything in regards to All-Stars.  I would like to think that we should be able to start getting All-Star nominations for the 2005 team starting after week 6 or 7 so as to not be hurried in the end.  I can do what I did last year with the ballots if you want with the nominating coaches comments about their players but I can't do it all in one day.  So I would like to get it started sometime after week 6 or 7 to get it done for the first playoff meeting.
