CFA Associations. For your information, clarification, and
action. The following was coordinated with all CFA
Commissioners.
CFA Policy Waiver Statement
To protect
associations from having players jump around and try to move
from one team to another because of the merger of the CFA and
KMFC into one league this year, the following agreement was made
between the CFA Football League Associations and KMFC Football
League Associations (now named the CFA) that joined the CFA for
the 2012 Season.
All
players on last years (2011) CFA and KMFC player rosters are
grandfathered and must play for the association that they were
registered with in the 2011 football season. This policy
overrides any rules in our bylaws for the coming 2012 season.
Any deviation from this policy will require a waiver release
from all parties concerned. It is important that the request for
waiver be submitted to the commissioners office the day the
player is registered, and prior to roster night. The wavier
request must be in written form and of course attached to the
players registration form in the CFA Roster Book as required
under the bylaws for any association to association waiver.
Prior to
signing up and registering a player this year, the CFA Registrar
must ask the player to name the association that he was
registered with and played for last year (2011). If the player
states that he was registered and played with a different CFA or
KMFC team last year he should be told that he must play with the
team he was registered with last year and should not register
the player.
Following
are the procedures on how to complete the "Excel" 2012
Association Player Rosters Form. The association registrar will
place an "x" under the "R" column of the players roster form for
all players that were registered in the CFA and/or KMFC football
leagues for the 2011 season. The "R" indicates renewal and that
the player registered falls under the grandfather clause
mentioned above. All new players will show an "x" under the "N"
column. Players given waivers will show an "x" under the "W"
column (Waivers) and must be supported by the documents
mentioned above. Other data elements under the "Excel" 2012
Association Player Rosters Form should be completed as follows:
The "H" and "A" column indicate jersey home and away number.
Squad should show S for Smurf, PW for Peewee, P for Pony and M
for Midget. The sort column should have a 1 for S. 2 for PW, 3
for P and 4 for M. Birth Date should show 04/01/12 if your
birthday is April 12, 2012 for sorting purposes. Age and Wt.
columns are self explanatory. G stands for Grade, C for Birth
Certificate and P for Physical Examination. Please check for
spelling, especially first and last name. You must prepare a
separate roster for each squad and name them as follows:
Example: 1 - Smurf - Boiling Springs, 2 - Peewee - Boiling
Springs, 3 - Pony - Boiling Springs and 4 - Midget - Boiling
Springs. This way all rosters will be standard.
